September 2026 Industries Served List

Capital Source card for September 2026 industries served, headlined $7.6M put to work, over a photograph of a commercial construction frame at dawn under a deep green wash, above three figures: 26 fundings closed in September, 9 industry sectors, and amounts from $25K to $1.06M right-sized to each operator.
Construction led September at $2,060,000 across five fundings, and wholesale distribution was the busiest line at seven. The rest of the month reached six manufacturers, two retailers, two health care operators, a temporary staffing company, a food service operator, a computer systems design firm, and an industrial equipment repair company.

Twenty-six fundings in September, across nine industry sectors and two countries, running from $25,000 to $1,062,000. The largest month this list has published, and no single deal carried it.

Chicago, October 7, 2026. Capital Source®, through its Private Credit Division, closed 26 transactions totaling $7,649,488 in September 2026, financing operators across the United States and Canada. Nine industry sectors. Individual fundings running from $25,000 to $1,062,000.

September does not have one story, and that is the story. Construction led the month by dollars: $2,060,000 across five fundings, from a $1,000,000 nonresidential build to a $60,000 contract. Wholesale distribution led by count: seven fundings totaling $1,618,000, moving groceries, poultry, electronic parts, pharmaceuticals, and farm supplies on both sides of the border. Six fundings crossed into Canada altogether.

When a month spreads wide

In September it spread across nine sectors, two countries, and every region we funded. The largest single funding of the month was $1,062,000, for a health care operator in the South, and it is almost 14 cents of every dollar deployed. The three seven-figure deals together took $3,062,000, under half the month. The other 23 fundings, from $25,000 to $650,000, made up the rest.

Behind every line on the list below is something more ordinary and more human than a number in a column. Working capital is the money that covers the gap between doing the work and getting paid for it. Most of September’s 26 fundings live in that gap: payroll between draws, inventory ahead of a season, equipment that has to be bought before the work it enables can be billed. Nobody wakes up in the morning wanting a loan. They want the thing on the other side of it. That is what we try to structure capital around, one cash cycle at a time.

Where the capital went in September 2026

In September the money moved south. The South took $3,185,000 of the $7,649,488 across eight fundings, 42 cents of every dollar deployed. The West took $2,033,000 across six fundings. The Northeast took $1,033,000 across three, and the Midwest $610,000 across three. And six fundings crossed the border into Canada for $788,488, reaching Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, and Nova Scotia.

Capital Deployment Themes

  • Construction led the month. Five of the 26 fundings, $2,060,000 of the $7,649,488, went to builders and trades: a roofing contractor, an electrical contractor, a nonresidential builder, a residential builder, and a building construction firm. Builders pay crews and buy materials weeks before a draw or a sale lands. That gap is what construction financing exists to cover.
  • Wholesale was the busiest line. Seven fundings totaling $1,618,000 went to distributors of groceries, poultry, electronic parts, pharmaceuticals, and farm supplies, in both countries. Inventory gets bought before it gets sold, and these seven operators financed that gap.
  • Big, and still right-sized. September ran from $25,000 to $1,062,000 across nine sectors and two countries. No sector took more than 27 cents of the month’s dollar, and no single funding took more than 14. The smallest funding on this list was built with the same care as the largest.
